 The Higher Education Commission Pakistan (HEC) recommends applications from citizens of Pakistan and AJ & K for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2022-23 launched by Hungarian government.

Types of Hungarian Scholarship

  1. For Bachelor’s (after 12 years of Education)
  2. One-Tier Master’s (after 12 years of Education)
  3. Master’s (after 16 years of Education)
  4. PhD Studies (after 17/18 years of Education)

Requirements

Candidates should read the detailed instructions carefully before applying.

To go through the instruction please visit the www.hec.gov.pk/site/ARL.

Candidates are required to submit the online applications both at Hungarian and HEC portal separately.

Hard copies of applications and other supported documents are not required.

Meanwhile applicants are required to keep record of all the submitted documents along with printed copies of both submitted application form.

Financial Aid/Fellowship

Tuition-free education

Applicants will have exemption from the payment
of tuition fee

Monthly stipend

For Bachelor’s
and Master’s Scholarships

Applicants will be provided with monthly
HUF 43,700/- contribution to the accommodation expenses, for 12 months a year, until
the completion of studies for selected degree programme.

For Doctoral
level

According to
the current Hungarian scholarships rules and standards, monthly HUF 140,000/ for the first phase of
education (4 semesters) and HUF 180,000/ for the second phase (4 semesters) for 12 months a year till the final year.

Criteria For Selection

Applicant must be a Pakistani national.
Age limit is 18-22 years for undergraduates, 35 years for Master Programmes and 40 years for PhD.
Attached degrees/certificates/transcript must be verified by HEC/IBCC.
IELTS/TOFEL required if necessary.
