Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar laid the foundation stone of Mother and Child Hospital project in Dera Ghazi Khan: The project will cost Rs 3.80 billion. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Emergency and OPD Block of Teaching Hospital Dera Ghazi Khan. The project will cost Rs 3.84 billion. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar inaugurated the Diagnostic Imaging Department at the Teaching Hospital and inspected the medical facilities in the CT scan room. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar was briefed on the Shelter Project at Teaching Hospital. Chief Minister’s directive to make the shelter functional as soon as possible.

New tehsils and districts are being formed in Punjab for administrative convenience. Talks will be held with the Ministry of Railways for train in Dera Ghazi Khan. One lakh 30 thousand jobs are being created across the province in phases.
